EVERYTHING IN HAWAII IS MAGICAL ~ ESPECIALLY THE PEOPLE
I SIGH for the Beaches of Hawaii
For the soft sand and Blue Seas of the Shore
The sea is as reflective as a MIRROR
Light back at you ~ the surface beauty pours !
I walk into a field of lush PINEAPPLES !
At home we only see ONE with BANANAS
But their are HUNDREDS here ~ as far a eye can see
A THOUSAND cool ~ PINA COLLADAS !
And the MUSIC ~ There is always MUSIC
Sweet melody of Hawaiian Guitar
Reminds one of the wind ~ sighing through the branches
As mystic & as captivating ~ as the tremulous Sitar !
HAWAIIAN LADIES born in PARADISE !
Coffee toned with silken Hair and sparkling Eyes
Movements so velvet smooth ~ some HOT & some are COOLER
Grass Skirts ~ their bodies shimmer in the HULA HULA !

Twin Sister ALASKA ! These two contrasting non-contiguous
US STATES have to be BELIEVED to be SEEN ! You should ALL

If I do manage to go I won't stay long! Cost of living there is a nightmare! Referring to Hawaii of course. Alaska I'd love to visit, I'm sure the cold water fish is a delight. A lot cheaper too from what I hear. Nice write guys
THANKS NB ~ YES INDEED Hawaii is so far from Mainland America that it costs in freight to ship & fly everything in ! Stuff can be got into Alaska more cheaply and it is a very rich State because of the OIL and Minerals etc. We went up TRACEYS ARM to see the Glacier and the Seals etc ~ spectacular ! You have to go on a MINICRUISE !

It is quite The Blessing that the both of you travel like...around the world.
I watched a reality TV Show before, something about a group of people living together in Hawaii.
It's interesting because it's not fiction and actually seeing it through their experience/Life.

Not everyone travels to such...not everyone does that, but those who don't...it doesn't mean that they don't want to.
That's what came to me about all this...that you both travel all these amazing places which you share here and we all experience through your poem and your post.
Perhaps, there is some kind of purpose for this.

Thanks for YOUR very reasoned comment J44. Yes we do love to travel especially to Countries whose language is Spanish or Portuguese because Angela is half-Spanish and it is a fluent second language for both of us ! My (BRIAN) Parents and Angelas Parents travelled abroad a lot and took us with them ! So we were both well travelled when we met ! Angela & I like to share our Travels in Poems on MPS and we do get some positive feedback. We consider sharing aspects of Life & Love to be an integral PURPOSE of MPS ! Our purpose in sharing about NZ & Hawaii is to encourage others to visit - BUT - also to provide a glimpse of these two lovely Destinations for those Members who are unlikely or unable to visit. We are not wealthy or sponsored but we are both in our THIRTIES - still single with - good JOBS - no Children (YET !) - Healthy Parents so it gives us more opportunity and freedom - to TRAVEL the WORLD - than many of our Peers. Beacsue it OPENS & develops ones MIND we consider *MONEY* spent on Foreign Travel is ALWAYS *Money Well Spent !* OK !

Hawaii has always fascinated me but I will never get to see it.
ANGELA HERE - Good Morning UNCLE ANDY ! We count ourselves fortunate to be able to travel to *Far Away places with Strange Sounding Names* and to be living at a TIME when inter-Coninental Travel is accesible - economical and safe. When one looks at PLANET EARTH from the MOON it looks SMALL but very very VIBRANT ! However getting to the other side of the Planet is very time consuming and relatively expensive. Logically we should have gone straight home and saved our MONEY for our HOUSE - but you know (perhaps better than most of us ?) WE ARE ONLY YOUNG ONCE ! We like to visit India - China - Japan - Iceland etc through OTHERS EYES and we hope we have given you a glmpse of the MAGIC of HAWAII !

ANGELA HERE - Ahhhhhhhh FAY sighing is the right word ! HAWAII is much more beautiful than one could ever imagine ! It stimulates every sense ! Sight - Sound - Scent - Savour & touch !
I got to HUG the HULA DANCERS but I kept BRIAN on his leash ! OOOPS Im beginning to sound like a WIFE but I dont want to leave Him behind in HONOLULU (JOKE !) WE both agree that the 15 Month Separation has made our love for each other MUCH STRONGER (See My Poem TODAY !) We would like to get married TOMORROW but there is much to do and we have decided on EASTER SATURDAY 2020. So I will be living with PAPA & MAMA until the Wedding and then we will move into our new HOME in ESSEX and I will be back in my former JOB but on a higher Grade as a TRAINER. We have enough saved for a Deposit - but need to find the right property. For some reasons we would prefer a NEW BUILD ! Thanks for your support !
