THE DEVIL IS A WOMAN

starved_for_words

The devil is a woman

With a heart so broken

No one can fix it

Sweltering hatred

Oozes from her veins

Veins that are a prison

For the wretched

God have mercy on any mortal

Who dares lay their eyes on her

The brush of her lips

Will leave the flavour of death

Sitting permanently on your tongue

And while you may feel sweet syrupy bliss

As her hands trace your sanity

Soon your body will writhe in the utmost agony

As you lay there, with little beads of misery in your eyes

She will whisper in your ear with the most mellifluous

Tone you’ll ever hear

Uttering your wrong doings

Until your soul withers away

BRIAN HERE ~ Welcome to MPS ~Thanks for your first Poem ! Nicely presented and an intersting Sbject as we approach Halloween ! I have met Ladies like the ones you describe ! In my experience scorned Ladies are at their most dangerous when they are broken hearted ! *HELL hath no fury like a Woman scorned* I find the best antidote is a G & T ! Thanks for sharing & scaring !

    Blessings & Peace & Joy

The devil is only there if you let it in your life.
