Making Richer.
Dawn hangs on leafless trees,
slivers itself floor-ward,
breaks on sleepy earth's acres,
turns first to corners
over which autumn sun snipes
shadows before choosing
to change move-less dreamers
to action-type doers.
Waking, blocked ears mistake
drowsing for real
but roused, each sense knows
Heaven fades dark
slowly thus making richer those
moments where stars
still show dawn's coat all adrape
for poets like me.

A fine write Fay.
Glad you enjoyed the read Orchi.
So perfectly true and perfectly you!
So kind of your to say so and thank you dear Dan.
Very good poem with great imagery.
Your comment and visit is really appreciated Lamar - glad you enjoyed the piece on Making Richer.
early mane captured in all its glory..
far more than fifty shades of silver and grey here in your accompanying image... both superb.....
I love dawn's lightening shades of blue and turquoise but decided to leave those hues to poets who verse fifty shades much easier than I could do.............. big smiles at your intriguing comment and thank you amigo for dropping by.
ANGELA HERE ! Good Evening FAY were back in the same Timezone now not 12 hours apart ! Your last line suggests *POEMS are spawned by Experience* and that is the theme of OUR todays & tomorrows POEM (still in draft) Today as you were inspired by THE DAWN making life richer so today we are inspired by the capriciouness of The Seasonal Change AUTUMN to WINTER ! Dawn is more predictable (but no less awesome) Autumn to Winter is unredictable and its suddenness is always a surprize how ever many we have witnessed ! Tomorrows deals MOONLIGHT WALKS - IN THE WOODS triggered by BEETHOVEN ! Loved your POEM and the PICTURE - mesmerising !
Blessings & Love & Joy & Peace

Gratitude for your continued support of my wordy efforts to magnify such things as dawn and dusk -- the inspiration in Nature can never be bettered and so glad you enjoyed the read my two friends.
I doubt there is a view of anything, anywhere which seen through your poetic eyes, and poetic mind which would not, once recounted upon our screens by yourself, enrich our appreciation of your poetic prowess, as does todays gem.
A great build to the theatre of those last four lines.... Why theatre?, because this piece fits together like a play with plot leading to the final vision. Woven and crafted so well.
My sincere appreciation for this very generous comment on Making Richer my friend - - am delighted you felt dawn's wealth in my few lines.
Beautiful Fay, the image of dawns awakening is wonderful.
Yes dawn has so much beauty to offer dear Andy - thanking you kindly for your visit and read.
