If i were a carpenter

ron parrish aka wordman

Life without you,

i wouldn`t understand if,

you wasn`t my lady,

and i wasn`t your man.

my life wouldn`t be the same,

without you,

but the world,

wouldn`t either

you take my breath away,

you sooth my soul,

when we`re apart

my heart is cold.

one day,

i will build a cabin,

in the sky

where eagles soar

and we never die.

My lips are sweet,

my love is true,

and i give it all,

all to you...

  • ANGELA & BRIAN

HI RON ~ BRIAN HERE ~ Thanks for sharing & caring. We love ELTON JOHN and the song which you have paraphrased in your elegant LOVE POEM ! As we read it I told Angela that every verse expressed just how I feel about her ! We are committed Christians so we have ...............

    A Manion in Heaven
    Where the ANGELS sing
And we will never ever die !

WE have been separated for 15 Months by 11,500 miles because Angela has been on a Work Exchange in New Zealand ! WE are getting Maried in APRIL 2020 !

Blessings & Peace to YOU & YOURS
Love in the ANGELA & BRIAN

A fine write Ron. Memories of another Carpenter too. 'Our Lord' conveys sharing, warmth, etc. I feel.
