I'm So Sorry.

kevin browne

I'm so sorry I had to let you go
With a heartache that will show
The pain inside of me turns on
And suffering that feels wrong.

I'm so sorry to hear you speak
It's my heart that never keeps
Holds a hand for the last time
When the love lost was mine.

I'm so sorry I had to tell you what
About all the moments we've lost
Sharing thoughts and living lies
Tho when every day all I do is cry.

I'm so sorry I was scared to tell you
That what I said was only the truth
Of the tears rolling down my cheek
And memories that made me weep.

I'm so sorry my dreams have gone
And mention the things I did wrong
And to forgive and give me all away
Where wishing I could have stayed.

I'm so sorry to have let you down
If the sweat rolled upon my frown
Then I could have cried all alone
Instead of trying to put me down.

I'm so sorry I was the one who said
How much you've hurt me I felt dead
I couldn't believe you when you lied.
And believe me when my heart died.

I'm so sorry if nothing was ever easy
If I overdosed would you believe me
And still, I cry with my imaginations
At the side of living with my decisions.

I'm so sorry I wanted you to leave
And no matter if what I still believe
Is that it's not that easy to say I love
For the reasons why I said enough.

And I'm still sorry for feeling left out
I'm so sorry that I was left to doubt
Please forgive me for being a lover
Towards her, I cried over some other.

I'm so sorry that I told you I loved you
When on my arm was a loving tattoo
Of a brand new place that now I know
Deep in my heart is where she goes.

I'm so sorry to tell you this once more
You broke in my soul, right to the core
And if you now believe me when I say
I'm not sorry for when love starts to play.

I'll be sorry when all this mess has gone
Forgetting to remember what was wrong
And you see me, seeing the love I have
Now that you're gone I can have a laugh.

You'll be sorry when I'll write about us
About the love, a love without any trust
Please leave me alone and let me know
When you're leaving and when you go.

I'm so sorry that it's time for me to cry
And I'll be sorry I ever I wondered why
When I look in your eyes I can see how
The time is here, the time has to be now.

For you to say you're sorry and hurt me
Take it in, let it out and let whatever be
In your heart I know I'll sure be in there
With a love ever after if you'd really care.

I'm so happy for the reasons are real
Down deeper than I'd thought I'd feel
But, believe me when it's nearly over
Runaway and hide underneath a cover.

I wish you wouldn\'t shut up, Orchi. I love and admire your humourous comments and idle remarks which only render with laughter. Don\'t ever change you, will you..??

Thanks Kev. Maybe one of my sayings is 'I wish I would shut up sometimes (talking rubbish, that is), but I never do!' heehee.

That sorrow will pass and the love will be there again.
