Simply death

mcassie

What is life, if not death

A sudden end to our breath

A storm in a while

Or even a painful simple smile

What is life, if not anything

But a wait for a resolution

Shall we stop, shall we cling

To the notion of God’s will

Why is life, simply death.

The single guarantee that life holds in how inevitably it ends!
In a world of goals and targets we're taught to aim for a particular point in time, an event, an achievement. When really it just marks the end of the most enjoyable part - the journey.

Nice write - thought provoking words and subject are one I often ponder, death can create fear in people, almost like time is literally running out! It relaxes me the thought that I already know whatever all of this is, it will end, so I smile at the world knowing I am here 🙂

Death is only there in our body, the Spirit that is us will go on for eternity.
