Temptations

JillianA

It happened so quickly

She was caught off guard

Sweet words, temptations

When she was down

No affection in her life, she was lonely at the time

He came to her when love was needed most

And whispered to her sweetly

A passion arose from deep within

All sense was thrown aside

Dark urges, wanting, needing touch

He tempted her with lies

He soon turned his words

and called her weak

Though she knew that he was right,

but love had taken grip of her and she kept hold of it so tight

She now thinks of him, a shadow in her past

His name etched upon her mind

A few messages over the years, he sends her way

Too painful to send a reply
