subject of EMPATHY we all have different experiences ~ some
GOOD ~ some BAD & some UGLY ~ but we survived ! By sharing
these experiences we are able to help others ~ who are passing
through similar trials ! *If we can help somebody as we pass
along ~ then our living shall not be in vain !* I trust you enjoyed

An, erm, empathetic write there B&A! Fido's ugly at times - not in appearance, but he flies into a barking rage, if poems not marked 18+ when they should be! You wouldn't know he gets in a state, cos he looks so cute. heehee.
BRIAN HERE ~ OFF TO WORK SOON ! CATS only have three moods ! GOOD - BAD - UGLY ! Whereas DOGS are more subtle ~ they can detect & mimic the MOOD of their MASTER in order to get a biscuit or a cuddle ! This is why GERIATRICS prefer them to CATS ~ also it gives them a reason to struggle round the block ~ WALKIES ! Dogs do look CUTE but if you annoy them ~ they turn to BRUTE ! Pleased you enjoyed the Presentation !

Thanks B&A. I avoid the word 'geriatric'. I don't like it. Same as I don't like the now (extinct?) word 'handicapped'. It's 'special needs' now. I see elderly folk with their little dogs - or medium-sized dogs- as companions, as well as some having moggies. Woof! Fido is with me anyway, and I'm hundreds of years old, so I say.
Being empathetic shows the care that you have for all.
Angela here - Good Morning Uncle Andy ! Mine is a very EMPATHETIC Profession especially as it is HANDS - ON ! Ive had my share of broken legs (skiing) etc - so I can really empathise with my CLIENTS ! MAMA has arthritis in her hands so it gives me *empathetic* experience of massaging with warm oil etc etc. Clients in my CLINIC want EMPATHY not SYMPATHY ! The same is TRUE of BRIAN in his Role as a Student Councellor and an OU Councellor. When we become PARENTS (especially of TEENS !) it will help us to be more EMPATHETIC in our Careers. JESUS in HIS 33 Years as a many is an excellent Role Model in EMPATHY.

Many people enjoy sympathy when it is needed. It is comforting. Still, nothing is more comforting in a person's time of need than being shown empathy. Sometimes, people need someone that they may relate to.
Jesus is our comforter.
