Tune: Wiltshire
('Through all the changing scenes of life')
Psalm 118 v.4-8
*********
Let them now that do the LORD fear
Say now, for He is near
That His mercy endures for e'er
And in it all may share
I called on the LORD in distress
He answered, did me bless
He set me in a large place sure
Me comforts did restore
The LORD is on my side, I will
Not fear man's plans for ill
That they would seek to do to me
Safe in the LORD I be
The LORD takes my part with those who
Do help me, loyal, true
So I shall see my desire on
They who hate me, each one
It is better to trust the LORD
In Him and in His word
Than in man to put confidence
The LORD will help us hence
Here middle verse of Bible be*
A centrality, see
By faith our trust will thus prove He
Keeps us eternally
