  Good Morning *D* still no NEWS of *OUTBACK* ? Maybe Hes gone *WALKABOUT in his 13 acres ~ Hope he comes HOME SOON. Thanks for your Comment. The Earths position in the Solar System (which enables it to be a LIVING PLANET) is dependent on the position of the other 7 Planets, Just wanted to highlight them with a ONE LINER (MONOKU) !     Thanks for your Q *D* Personally I think our POEM has everything to do with the HERE & NOW ! There are eight acknowledged PLANETS in the Solar System ! Some much bigger than Planet Earth some smaller ~ some with moons ~ some without. Seven are LIFELESS for a variety of reasons ~ Temperature ~ Atmosphere ~ lack of Water etc etc. You & I and 7.5 billion other H. Sapiens are fortunate to be living on Planet Earth ~ OK ! BUT (and this is a big HERE & NOW Q !) what are we doing to conserve & preserve OUR PLANET ~ especially as there is NOWHERE ELSE to GO ! Those of us that live in developed Countries are burning FOSSIL FUELS for transport ~ heating ~ Industries etc and chopping down trees (Deforestation) moving into Megacities etc all of which disturbs Mother Natures EQUILIBRIUM by increasing atmospheric CO2 (250ppm to 415ppm) Mother Nature (GAIA) fights back causing Global Temperature Rise which Melts Ice Caps ~ Increases Forest Fires and the intensity od hurricanes & Tornados & Sea level rise and coastal erosion etc HERE & NOW. Im just trying to inform people HOW UNIQUE & HOW FRAGILE planet EARTH is etc ! In other poems I have urged people to be more GREEN and save our Planet before it is too late ! ANGELA & I expect to still be alive in 2080 and our Children (if we are blessed with any !) well into the next Century ~ OK ! Thats why we posted the Poem ~ we are both Scientists and concerned for the future of the Planet ! Lots of PEOPLE like TRUMP have their Heads firmly buried in the SAND and do not want to KNOW ! Climate Change like BREXIT becomes a non-subject !

  GOOD EVENING TITANIUM ~ You are very welcome to MPS ~ we welcome positive CRITIQUE & FEEDBACK ~ which you state you are also prepared to receive ! We look forward to perusing your First Poem and We promise to comment. If you read the entire spectrum of MPS ~ You find some is giberish and some is very erudite (FAY is an EXAMPLE !) some is in between and some is simply Prose ~ OK. Our Poetry covers a vast range. I am 36 & Angela (31) is my Fiance we have our reasons for sharing a site and there are other *couples* who also share ~ OK. I am a CONSERVATIONIST so I do tend to write some Poems on Global Warming & its consequences etc. We both expect to be alive in 2080 so like the CHILD protesters we are concerned. As your daughter should be !
  Let me say first of all ~ that we accept all your criticisms and were we can we will rectify our practices ! 1. We intend to continue as a collaborative site ~ hope that doesnt offend. 2. Because you have highlighted it we appreciate that soliciting comments is *rude* (it was to encourage comment because that is a good feature of MPS) but we will from now on ~ CEASE the practice ~ and leave it to the reader ~ OK 3. I acept that primarilly this is an adult site and our Poem & Picture (but not the Video) is rather JUVENILE perhaps (in retrospect) it would have been better to have written eight separate POEMS and explained the nature of each Planet and its suitability or otherwise to support LIFE. The basic point we were tring to make was the uniqueness of EARTH and the need to keep it that way because its all weve got ! There are those who imagine Nature will cope with the costraints (like antrhropogenic CO2 increase) ad infinitum ~ but she wont ! I know these things are now better taught in Schools (even Primary Schools) but there are plenty of adults (21+) who are ignorant of WHY the Earth is so unique and others who imagine we could colonise MARS (for millions) which is SCIENCE FICTION or find an Earthlike Planet 20 light years away to colonise ~ which is also SF. In the light of your comments we will be more careful about the *intellectual level* of our POEMS in future ~ OK. Sorry we embarassed YOU ! We are both adults and used to criticism ~ so we never (in essence) take offence at any constructive criticism ~ indeed we welcome it. We are both commited Christians (as are others on this site) and we do resent blasfamous remarks made about *Christian Poetry* just because it is in fact CHRISTIAN. MPS is open to ALL irrespective of CLASS - COLOR - COUNTRY or CREED so we should all show respect in these areas ~ OK ! We like your name ~ a very important ELEMENT !
