Tune: Corpus Christi
('Jesus in thy dear Sacrament')
Psalm 90 v.12-17
*********
Teach us, LORD, to number our days
To follow you always
That we our hearts to wisdom turn
And so of you we learn
Return, LORD, and have compassion
See us all here, each one
How long shall it be, remember
Unto us again stir
O satisfy us early here
May your mercy appear
That we may rejoice and be glad
All our days, not e'er sad
Make us glad we pray, according
To troubles you did bring
And the evils of affliction
Seen by us, each have some
Let your works unto your servants
Bee seen, and they you sense
Show your glory and beauty bright
Of everlasting light
Establish our works firm and sure
They shall last evermore
By your good hand upholding all
Help us trust, we not fall
So here in man's life, mortal, small
Compared to you, o'er all
You do live and reign, yet are nigh
And hear our prayer and cry
