I sit here and remember yesterday,
What a wonderful day.
Breakfast eaten,
Poetry read,
Music heard.
Drove to my coffee bar,
Drank some wonderful coffee
While writing two poems.
Wonderful morning.
Home for lunch
Then off to croquet,
Played so well,
With so much enjoyment.
Drove home for dinner,
Cooked by me,
Relaxed for a while.
Went out to sing,
Sing in a choir
A choir I had to give up
While my lover was ill.
So much enjoyment
Singing my heart out,
The joy in my heart,
So meaningful,
So wonderful.
So here I am this morning
Looking back on yesterday,
Such a wonderful day
That ended with sleep,
A good night’s sleep
From which I awoke,
And wrote these words.

A wonderful write too Gold. We have not told some about our eccentricities in 1066. They may not appreciate our humour though - doh!
Thank you Orchi.
Unfortunately our excursions in 1066 were not consigned to the history books as history is always written by the winners.
Good Afternoon ~ UNCLE ANDY ~ Thanks for the video ! We love BARBER SHOP and a Male Voice Choir is always uplifting ! Perhaps FEMALE BARBER SHOP is an OXYMORON ? We are so so pleased you had a VERY GOOD day and have been able to rejoin the CHOIR ~ Music is very cathartic ! I am sure JOYCE would approve ! Even a HALF-EMPTY Life can be enjoyed to the FULL ~ OK
Blessings & Peace to YOU & YOUR Lovely JOYCE
Love ANGELA & BRIAN ๐งก๐๐งก๐๐งก
