Stirrings.
Descent to despair can reach
darkest of worlds
but as shadow's mood leaves
a new urge unfurls.
Awakes stirrings of Self, tied
to anticipation,
beckons to sense held inside
pain of failures
and as mind clears for action
comes conversion.
Despair enters when tackled
lasting reversal.

A fine poem for a rainy day, or for that matter any day of the week....
Tho not a victim myself in the strictest sense, my adult life has been spent trying to help others less fortunate and certainly, those who experience the oft seriously debilitating effects of depression and the major affective disorders.... I so hope this does the trick.....
Ditto here Nev - - - my life working with the depressive taught me much empathy. My thanks dear friend for your continued visits and comments.
