Jane Frye

You left without a goodbye,
leaving us all to speculate why.
I truely enjoyed your poetic side.
While you were here, it was a fun ride.
I'm hoping it's true,
that you left for something new.
But, if you were misjudged and misplaced,
and then completely erased;
I want you to know,
that I was a fan,
and affectionately thought of you as the word man.
Peace out.

I'm still holding on to hope. Hoping he will return.

Some things he said went over my head - me, a simple soul - not THAT simple! lol. He had his own style.

Sometimes I had to ask him for clarification too. Not because he was being unclear, but because my thoughts were going in a different direction.

        Jane,

Perhaps he was ‘misjudged’ and/or ‘misplaced’...
but he will never be ‘completely erased’!
Like a Phoenix, he will rise once again from its ashes!

Thank you, Laura. That would have been a better ending to the poem. I like that it's positive and graceful.

            Jane,

Your ending is perfectly fine. All I meant to say is that he will do his utmost to be back and he will succeed!

Thank you for sharing your wonderful poem!
