Trapped

Poetic Dan

Trapped in my head nearly all week

Not many words did I speak

Although I have enough thoughts for eternity

It's easy to go back to just a nod, walk & obituary

For I may have a pot to piss in but really there's nothing left

I may have gorgeous eyes to look into but still have a feeling of emptiness

When my mind has me caged on expectations in regret

By now I should of released that's what started all of this

Never able to give all that I can give, just a call or weekend trips

The heart never really knowing what love is, only to expect the unexpected

I do hope that cage around your mind is released soon and you can become the person that you are in your new found loving life.

Cheers Andy, I'm always something that's for sure.

Thanks for always looking in 😉

PD, I think we all have trouble accepting ourselves for who we are. Life would be so much easier and better if we could.

We can only pass that knowledge on my friend.
        Always appreciated
