Zuzanna Musial

There was a short summer this year.
Not too many sunny days.

Now, autumn with rain, almost every day.
Temperature does not stay the same.

Missing the bright sunny days.
Not looking forward to the colder phase.

Why, oh why, the cold rain again.
That keeps tapping on my windowpane.

Thank you so much for the wonderful comment Ron. However, we still have much warmer Autumn, as a surprise to so many of us in Alberta, Canada. It is plus 10 C - not sure how that corresponds with the Fahrenheit. It seems colder there.

Thanks for sharing ZUZANNA ~ Weather is always an untriguing topic for those of us living the UK ! No snow yet in SE England ! 10C = 50F which for us ~ especially if it rainy & windy ~ is COLD ~ overcoats needed. The climate puts people off emigrating to CANADA ~ We*ve only been in the Summer ! Vancouver - Toronto & Grand Mannan Island. A friend of mine from Essex fell in love with a Girl on the web and then discovered she lived in WINNEPEG ! He visited in the Summer & liked it ! They marred and he now lives in Winnipeg and have a Daughter ! He has now suvived three Winters and loves it ! They have already had a lot of snow in MICHIGAN ! I guess its because most of the STATE is out in the LAKE ! We love CANADA in SUMMER ! Great Country ~ Great People ~ Great Scenary !

    Blessings & Peace & Joy
    Yours ANGELA & BRIAN

Hello Angela & Brian, I am very happy hearing from you and the lovely remarks on Canada. I have been to Europe a few times, been to the UK as well. My two sisters live in Paris so visiting there no problem. Now I am retired so do not travel. I am not complaining about the weather. However, this year we had more rain. Not sure why Albert got so much rain, not sure. We use to be a dry Province but not now. I am located in Edmonton, Alberta. The Province that has Oil Sands, Fort McMurray, AB. We too have warm days now. Today was plus 10 C. So unusual warm for November. All snow almost is gone. Your weather is warm too but with the moisture in the air, it is much colder. The UK is a very beautiful Country but so small in comparison to ours. Thank you for reaching out to me and leaving such a nice comment...I am grateful. Thank you so much...Blessings of Love and Light!~~Zuzanna

      Welcome to MPS, Zuzanna.
It is amazing how you can capture this 'short summer feeling' in only a few words. Well done!
I called Montreal my home for sixteen years and know how precious these summers are after the long winters. Now after over thirty years in Hawaii, I must admit I wouldn't mind a day or two of snow.
Am looking forward to read more from you.

Hello Sir. FredPeyer, thank you for the warm welcome to MPS.
Thank you for the wonderful comment on the weather in Alberta. Montreal has much more rain from our Province. I see that you escape the snow shovelling during the 6 months of winter. Hawaii does not have any snow but you having beautiful scenery year-round. When you missing snow can substitute with some ice cubs, thinking of snow, or can always make a Slurpee or have some good ice cream... Kindest greetings... From Zuzanna

The seasons can be wonderful, it is a bit damp where I am in the middle of England, we have had floods and the land is saturated but it has not been too cold.
Writing about the seasons is great as is your poem Zuzanna.

        • Zuzanna Musial

Thank you Goldfinch60, I love all seasons. We too have a little up and down weather. at times snowing, and raining as well. Albert was a dry Province in the past, that has changed.
I am loving poetry about Nature. Nature is a living poem itself. Thank you so much for reading and leaving your heartprints on here..My kindest greetings, Zuzanna

A good write Zuzanna. I ain't too bothered about the rain drops tapping. More concerned about any hail-stones! heehee.

          • Zuzanna Musial

Hello Orchidee, I like your comment, Hail, you wrote, well we have all seasons in one day. The Province I live in has rapid weather change. One never knows how to dress, it can be rain, snow, thunderstorm, and sunshine ALL in one day.... Thank you for the visit, and kindness reading my scribbles...Zuzanna
