Perhaps in the wind

Alta H Mabin

I hear your voice,

Calling my name

I swear, even

During a thunderous storm

I feel your arms

Around me

Keeping me safe

From any harm

I see your face

Only in my dreams

But I swear I know

Your beautiful eyes

Perhaps, the wind itself

Knows how I yearn

For your arms to hold me

And to hear you whisper my name
