I checked my pants
And found it there;
Nestled in my pubic hair.
Feeling small and almost sweet
Like a statue
Greek and neat.
Obviously my inner me
Not responding to this she.
My loyalties of love and sex
Still entangled with my ex.
It doesn’t matter much I see...
Just my core fidelity
Auto-piloting away
...Unlike hers
It’s sad to say.
