Those days happen
Where I do not feel right,
So I write words.
Words take me away,
Away from that place,
That place of sorrow.
They lead me into life,
Into my new life,
That life where I am back,
Back being me,
Doing good things,
Good things in my life,
Things that I enjoy,
And the greatest joy
Is the joy of writing,
As it always raises me,
Raises me to the light.
