Tune: Helmsley

('Lo, He comes with clouds descending')

Revelation 1 v.5-8

*********

Jesus Christ, the faithful witness

Ever be and ever is

He first-begotten of the dead

Now lives e'er, our living Head

Ruler over al things

Ruler over all things

Ruler over all things

His eternal peace He brings

Unto Him that loved us and us saved

He the way to God has paved

And has washed us from our sins in

His own blood, cleansed us within

To Him be the glory

To Him be the glory

To Him be the glory

And dominion lastingly

Behold, he comes with the clouds, then

Every eye shall see Him when

He returns to the earth again

To gather out of all men (mankind)

All who Him as Saviour

All whom Him as Saviour

All whom Him as Saviour

Accept, and death be no more

Then shall they who pierced Him wonder

Kindreds shall mourn, and shall stir

For He seen of all now, it be

According to His plans, see

Christ as Lord here reigning

Christ as Lord here reigning

Christ as Lord here reigning

We Him humble tributes bring

He is Alpha and Omega

Beginning and ending sure

The Lord, He who is, and who was

And is to come, lives He does

The Lord God Almighty

The Lord God Almighty

The Lord God Almighty

Endless glory to Him be

More notes than words on this one Steve, a bit like my instrumentals. Mark Knopfler's 'Piper' is on the same video. I have played on this, it makes for a great poem even without the music.

      Kind regards, Alan
