You see and hear them
Preaching their beliefs,
There apparent beliefs.
These religious people
Do what they are told,
They don’t think for themselves,
They just do what they are told,
No matter what is right.
You see but don’t hear them
Alone in their spiritual lives,
Their beliefs within them,
Within their hearts.
They do what is right,
What is right in their world,
No matter what they are told.

Are you thinking of monks and nuns here, or 'religious' people in general?
Yet some got to church just out of ritual, or play 'going to church' as in: 'Well, I had nothing else to do, or nothing better to do'.
I admit I am not very questioning, and might go out of 'blind faith' at times.
Religious people in general Orchi.
GOOD MORNING UNCLE ANDY ! Thanks for sharing a Classic Video. A cousin of mine HANNAH ~ is a classical cellist and when I bow her cello the vibrations go right through my body ~ because of the shape and musical wavelength of the notes they resonate perfectly ~ Amen.
Your POEM is very interesting I am an Evangelical and Angela is a Catholic ~ but we are both BORN AGAIN Christians and filled with God*s Holy Spirit. This makes us very compatible ! We are not Zombies and we seek to bring Love - Joy - Peace ~ outside the CHURCH and into the Community and our World of Work . Ours is a very practical FAITH. Your POEM really made us think !
Blessings & Peace to YOU & YOUR BELOVED JOYCE
LOVE BRIAN (& ANGELA) ๐งก๐๐งก๐๐งก
Thanks Brian, My Spirit has always been there.
Hi Andy,
The secret to true faith with God is having a close personal loving relationship with him.
Sometimes the people who follow the rules and do what they are told are they really fired up by God at work in them that's the key!
Good write.
Keep writing FineB
So true FineB, thank you
Andy.
