Why do you do it?

Aa Harvey

Why do you do it?

I want you, to make me happy.

I want something that guarantees happiness.

I want you, to help me escape,

From this thing called life, I have begun to hate.

I wish to raise up, to a higher plain.

I want to build a barrier, between the heart and the pain.

I want to be relaxed, when I talk to her.

I want to sound cool and not cheesy when I flirt.

I want us to all, to have one thing in common.

They’ve all done it before and I want to be like them.

I want to feel, what my idols felt.

I want to become someone else.

Well, it looks as though you are becoming someone else. Your poetry proves that within it's self impression of you crying your heart out, but still to persist for a better life. That's a magical and positive to beleive in. Keep your finger dipped in the river of positivity and it will take you anywhere you like and more importantly be you..
