Exalt

SerenWise

Meet me where the stars kiss the shimmering sea;

Orion and the Pleiades hold the wide winter's sky,

As the hoar-frost grows on the slumbering trees,

We engage in this quickening headlong dive.

Hold me where the woods engulf lingering twilight;

Deep and dark secrets amongst the long shadows,

Tawny cries puncture the long, gloaming night,

We'll find silent love in the Midwinter meadows.

Kiss me where the mountains break the dark moor,

The roots of their bedrock hold silent and true,

Where the ancient lands watch, and the peregrines soar,

I loose my heart wayward... and it flies home to you.
