Don't be long

Poetic Dan

Barely made it to three months and she joins many others in fight

Not even really made a sound and an infection is inbound

As those little fingers holds on to what is going on

I find myself paying to the universe to not take any of the young

Sadly its silence says life is what it is, you can only do your best with it

Thankful to those that choose to help others

Maybe the only true answer will only ever be in each other

  • Comment from author about the poem: From last night her holding my hand to leaving her & mom at hospital over night it's been one crazy wave to ride. Much peace and respect to all that go though this and worse to not make it out, every day I get a new lesson of how to live is to suffer so enjoy the good times.
