Underneath The Stars At Night...

kevin browne

We sit underneath the stars at night
Bringing comfort there
Inside the magic dust for loving life
Angels flying everywhere.

As the background of the Milky Way
Amongst the stars and Moon
Billions of years, another day
A million more too soon.

Underneath whatever's to know
Where wonders wonder
The Sun shines everywhere we go
As the clouds thunder.

And as distant regions spark alight
Twinkle where you are
Dream underneath the stars at night
Tonight we're the star.

It's too far for a telescope to find us
Just need to look above
For in the Heavenly Earth, we trust
And a romance to love.

As the west wind blew up Northern light
Glowing glorious there
Rays reflect underneath gleaming bright
Underneath somewhere.

Now the rotation of a spinning Galaxy
Arms stretched out wide
Outstretched a love upon you and me
The day the Moon had cried.

Seven sisters reflect sparkled hearts
Shining below the deep
And in doing so they each play a part
Shooting down at sea.

If gravity is pulling down on our luck
God threw the dice
And when the hand of life that struck
God threw them twice.

And as we look up to the stars at night
Smiles paint the Moon
And seeing her face in a beautiful life
In a beaming blue.

And if we can find a star at mid-noon
In a darkness glow
And if we watch life fade away too soon
The Universe will know.
