Infamy! Infamy!

Goldfinch60

It was going to be one of those days!

Got up,

Got ready to go to the hospital

To see my lover.

Drove up the road, on my way,

Just pop into the coffee shop,

Went in.

Sorry they said,

We are late,

Coffee won’t be ready

For another ten minutes.

I couldn’t wait so off I walked

Into another coffee shop,

Had a cup of awful coffee,

Not like my usual fine brew.

As I walked back to the car

Words came into my mind,

“Infamy! Infamy!

They’ve all got it in for me!”

          "IN FOR ME" INFAMY"
Strange how brain can steer from one thought to another, and a whole new trend sweeps us.
          Nicely done

Thank you Suresh, the quote is from a British Comedy film "Carry on Cleo" from 1965.

Isn’t that a line in a punk song by carter USM, the music that nobody likes.

I think it’s best you don’t look it up.

It’s title is with good reason.

Hope you get a decent coffee today!
