What is Christmas?
That time of year
Where celebrations abound,
There is joy all around.
What is Christmas?
Some believe it is the birth
Of the son of god,
If you believe.
What is Christmas?
That time where families
Come together in joy,
With food and wine.
What was Christmas
With my loved one?
So many joys,
Over so many years.
What is Christmas?
Now her mind has gone
Where she does not know,
One day from another.
What is Christmas,
What is Christmas to me?
Without my lover
No longer at my side.

It's horrible time for some folk, we know, whether their situation is better or worse than yours - loneliness, etc, the long break of the holidays (for some anyway).
Or maybe saying - the good old days, but not now?
I hope there is some small spark at least in your heart, of the true meaning of Christmas. ๐
Thank you Orchi, it can be hard but I will survive. The good old days are still with me.
Andy.
Wow you got me with this one as I read down I had in my head it's nothing but programming but then you pulled the heart strings. I Guess for me you are right, it's just another moment to hold my loves ones tightly.
Thank you for sharing light, I hope you and your family all the best!
Thank you Dan, always hold your loved ones tightly.

ANGELA HERE - Good Morning UNCLE ANDY - Thanks for DIZZY excellent a very smooth HORN ! I loved last Christmas in the Sun in Auckland - New Zealand - BUT - I was 11,500 miles away form BRIAN and it hurt - It gives me a glimpse of your separation from Your Beloved Joyce. Thanks for sharing your aching Heart with us. Your loving relationship with JOYCE is always a great inspiration to Brian & I who will be just starting out on our Married Life in 2020 ! Never be ashamed to shed a tear in a lovely Poetry Group like MPS - we are ALL here for each other - Poetry is always CATHARTIC ! AMEN !
