We are at that time of year
When all is meant to be good cheer,
But some are struggling,
Struggling with their lives,
As life becomes very hard.
So all I can do is wish,
Wish that soon the world will see,
Will see what is wrong,
And fix all lives,
So that we can all move forward,
Move forward into that life,
Into that life of cheer.

. I believe the change or 'fix' needs to be from within people, not merely changing the 'outward' things, call it society, or whatever we may call it.
A carol wisely expresses it:

Descend to us, we pray
Cast out our sin and enter in
Be born in us today (by the Spirit)'

Meanwhile, Fido fixes Christmas - sounds like a film title. He reminds me to take my water-syphon to parties. He don't want any 'merriment!' He's a pest. lol.
THANKS UNCLE ANDY ~ For brihtening our Christmas Morning (its now Noon !) with an excellent Jazz Trio playing a lovely & lively Tune. You always surprise us Musically ~ even on Christmas day ! Love the sentiment of your Poem and we hope & pray your wish will be answered ! However the reality is that the GAP between the HAVES & HAVE nots widens every day ! There will be many @ this Christmastime who will spend more on Alcohol than a Family in LETHOSO have to feed themselves for a WHOLE YEAR ! JESUS said *The Poor you will always have with YOU* and he was right ! The SALVATION ARMY Worldwide will feed many Lonely & Needy today *Many Thousands Wordlwide - AMEN !* It is one branch of the Christian Church ~ Angela & I support financially the Year round because they actually practice what JESUS Preached !

Whatever the cause
Whenever the heart is heavy
Let's hope we find the strength
To bear, to overcome, to ease
Till then, thru the, and thereafter
Into that life of cheer.
It can be overcome by many, we need it to be overcome by all.
One day it may happen, and even if I don't get to see it I hope everyone can find a way to get along with one another. A nice write Finch.
