and so we danced

dusk arising

and so we danced
though the music was not sweet
and the rhythm oft disjointed
would entangle round our feet

though we whirled and we jived
lest our very spirit should wain
with every throw of that dice
in this confusion of life's game

I danced with confusion, she was great fun. Although it was hard to tell her head from her bum!

Thanks for this year's inspirational vibe, I feel like a Bee Gee staying Alive 😉
