Cast out among the shadows
She sits as she waits,
Will there be another
Who comes to raise the gate?
She beckons the unknown
As she tries to find salvation
Lost in the darkness
Amidst lifes tribulations
Can she find her way again
Like the dog to the scent?
She rises once again to walk
Among the world of men
For her love is deep
As the neverending waters
Broken..before like the waves
Finding solice in the shadows
Bravely she moves forward
As she ventures towards his touch
To step back into the light
To relearn this thing called 'love'.
