Love at first sight

Nemo

Like a winter breeze she casually passes by.
For a moment in time she looks me in the eye

The crease on her skin,
The curves on her lips is a hand crafted smile
Breaking her spell she gentley walks by.

The smell of her perfume caught me by surprise
Lingering in my head drifting me away
Frozen in time all I could do is stare
As she moves ahead leaving me there

After few steps she turns her head gently sways her hair,
From the corner of her eyes she gives me a stare
My heart skips a beat or is it my soul trying to break free

In this small moment of consciousness is when I realize this is not magic but rather love at first sight.

  • Comment from author about the poem: This poem is about how I felt when I saw this beautiful girl at a bus stop the interaction was very brief, but to me it felt like eternity. Never saw her again tho. But tried to express how I felt through words.. Enjoy

    Very nice!
Really like some of the lines and I think will be something that all of us will connect with.
