HELD BY ALL

Michael Edwards

HELD BY ALL

The light he shines around him thrown

place him within his shadows zone.

He never sees the light he shines,

the good he brings to all mankind.

He’s held by all in high esteem,

a light by others freely seen.

A sensitive write and pic M.
It's true. I can think of folk like this. I suppose if we continually seek to see our own light, we just go on an ego trip.
Not that we're doormats, rubbishing ourselves, nor letting others rubbish us - but qualities of meekness, lowliness, self-effacement. etc.
Bit deep this - got headache now, this time of morning, thinking that out! I know a person or two - Remarka Berle, and Hum Berle. You know them? And does Hum pong?! lol.
