Last year has been a blast, although I now have a open scar
For part of my nose is missing, but cancer is not revisiting
I've started a journey I can't believe, with much healing still in need
Nearly 365 days of tests, I'm still here and not out of breath
This next cycle will be the last of my 30s, I was given a gift to remind me
A brand new soul that joined two tribes, sharing birth dates to heal my rhyme
Perfectly balanced in a crew of three & three
Now the year 2020 has great timing, in peace with the dark & light inside me
It may get rocky & rough but our sails are up, ready to ride the waves home...
Becoming king of my throne!

- Comment from author about the poem: This was written and ready to go on the 29th December but sadly I lost my energy and enthusiasm. I'm so grateful to all that I shared time with last year, may we all keep up the write to a better life. Much peace and respect

Firstly, that video is wikkid man and the hip-hop/acid jazz soundtrack really makes it.
Keep riding the waves Dan, theyre only there to remind us all that none of us are perfect m8. Wiishing you a happy and joyous 2020 - you've lots to look forward to.
It is a brilliant tune glad they didn't block it, but it was ment to be as the word slow hit a snail pic at the start!
Surf is up my friend may this year bring us all a step closer to inner peace!
Thanks for being here

Ride those waves with the strength that now abounds within you Dan.
