No faith in love

Aa Harvey

No faith in love

I don’t believe in love anymore.

Love has been stained it is no longer pure.

Love was my life, but not anymore,

Because I have lost my faith in love.

You broke my heart apart,

When you said you had to depart.

I struggle to get myself out of bed,

Because there is nothing left, except the pain inside my head.

  • dusk arising

A sorrowful read. Love can be a lot more than the romantic kind of love you mourn here.
Maybe learning about love starts with beginning to love the beautiful world we live upon. Once on the road of learning about love you'll find you can love yourself and once you achieve that, then the rest will fall into place.

I'm sorry if this reads rather glibly. I do mean every word of it and there are many older wiser folk who will tell you the same story.

  • myself and me

    The pain side of love.
