- Comment from author about the poem: Many artists merely copy what there is to see – they don’t interpret. The painting which I completed only yesterday is acrylic on canvas and is 50cm square.

A fine write and pic M. How are the Berles?!
Not so good - they've all got the Tummyrum Berles.
Made me think of the contrast between jazz musicians and classically trained musicians..... generally speaking the latter cannot improvise whereas the jazzers are creating new music all the time.
Great analogy - never thought of it like that but so true. Thanks dusk.
Thanks for sharing Uncle Mike ~ Love the painting Cairngorm in Winter ~ dinna venture oot in yer Kilt wi*oot yer langjonnies !
Love the Pome ~ its a question of perception & execution ! All *artists* have the opportunuity to create but alas some disintegrate & denigrade !
Blessings & Peace to You & Yours

Thanks A&B - what makes an artist is the long running debate in the art world but there will never be a real answer that satisfies all.
A great write Michael and crowned by your beautiful picture. Good work!
