Tune: Anima Christi
('Soul of my Saviour, sanctify my breast')
********
Lord, when we may your holy feast approach
Penitent, you will accept, not reproach
Trusting in you for your forgiveness, life
Eternal, though not gained through earthly strife
But by your grace we may now here partake
Offer you ourselves for your goodness sake
Eating of bread and drinking of wine true
These are the things you chose to symbolise you
It be food and drink for our spirits, souls
And for our bodies, you will make us whole
Cause us to search our hearts and minds before
We come to receive of your rich treasure store
For 'tis our treasure, heavenly gifts shown
Your desire, Lord, they to the world b known
Here is how man to God be reconciled
It be by your offering made undefiled
Your life given that we might live, e'en me
Your taking my place there upon the tree (cross)
Then rose again, your risen life we share
By your mercies to us, just , meek, and fair

Thanks Nemo.
Good Morning Uncle Steve ~ A great start to Sunday love the Choir & the Hymn & the Poem ! Just off to Church ~ Im a GREETER this morning (On*t Door as they say in*t North !). I will meet Angela @ Church and then to her parents for Lunch. Fortunately (or is it Divine Providence ?) her parants are very fond of Me and treat me *Como un Hijo* like a Son. My Parents treat Angela *Como una Hija !* We both love the Communion Service ~ Whether its the Pomp & Circumstance of the Catholic Mass in the Cathedral or A Fire Baked Loaf & Ribena @ Summer Camp ~ it is equally significant !
CHRIST has once suffered for Sins
The just for the unjust
In order to bring us ~ Back to GOD ~ AMEN !
Blessings to You & Inspector Hound
