The Day Started Well.

Goldfinch60

The words were said,

The words that put joy in my heart.

I turned the radio on

And these words were said,

“We now have Mozart,

Mozart to start the day.”

What a glorious sound

Came into my ears,

Into my heart,

Into my soul.

Today will be a good day,

As it started with Mozart.

A fine start and good write Gold.
I have the ability to ruin folk's days. They start well - then I sing. It's all downhill from then on! heehee.

Thanks Orchi - every new day is good.

Pity that day started well in 1066, then I turned up.....โ€ฆ the rest is history!

Not since i was a youngster have i been able to turn the radio on and appreciate someone elses choices of music for my ears.... i've become over discerning i suppose.

However, that doesnt stop me greeting each new day with a smile and gratitude.

        • Goldfinch60

I am sure that smile will always be with you d a.
I have become more receptive to music over the years, there is so much music out there. I reckon I know a bit about music but I know have to say that the more I get to know about music the more ignorant I realise that I am.

          Hello Goldfinch60,

          A wonderful write!

I saw the film Amadeus many years ago with F Murray Abraham. Excellent.

          Keep writing FineB

Yes it is a good film. Mozart is the one composer that rises above the rest. I have all of his recorded works twice over.

ANGELA HERE - Good Evening Uncle ANDY ! Ahhhhhhhhh MOZART my favourite composer for Piano. History tells me he never changed a note - DIVINE ! When I play MOZART I am lifted into a Seventh Heaven. Even though BRIAN & I are not cohabiting yet - we both start the day in our separate spheres with Classic FM and often we are MOZARTED to start the Day - what better way ! Classic FM is much more uplifting than the NEWS - AMEN !

              Thnakd for caring & sharing
Blessings & Peace to You & Yours

I occassionally listen to Classic FM but I have always listened to Radio 3 - even when it was originally called The Third Programme - it changed to Radio 3 in 1967.
