FROST makes everything
beautiful especially the
frosted spider web !
FROST makes shrubs sparkle
like Christmas decorations
don*t grumble ~ ENJOY !
FROST form a layer
of ice on your garden pond
it keeps the fish warm !
MAKE most of Winter
beauty ! Get out & about
enjoy while it lasts !

*Have you entered into the TREASURES of the Snow ?*
In CANADA & some N.American States ~ Snow is regarded
as an inconvenience ! In the UK if we get 3 inches of Snow
everything grinds to a halt ! For some reason we never expect
it ! no Snow Chains and no Snow Ploughs on the trains. However
in the North UK every Family has a SLEDGE ! Snow is awesome
every snowflake is different a perfect hexagonal jewel. A layer
of snow not only beatifies a barren field but it insulates the soil
and preserves the lives of essential soil insects like worms and
also soil micro-organisms. When a layer of ice forms on a pond
it acts a an insulation ! The water stays at 4C (maximum density)
and the fish & plants stay alive ! In places like N America the
snow acts as a *Water Reservoir* to be released in the Spring
Floods to irrigate the parched land etc etc. Have you entered
into and understood ? *The Treasures of the Snow* ~ AMEN !

THANKS FB ~ In the UK every Season has its place ! BUT you have to ignore the Weather and get out & about to appreciate it ! We have friends who are Farmers in various parts of the UK and we love to stay with them because they live & work in harmony with the Seasons ~ AMEN !

Had to highlight your words to read them... turquoise on a white screen was impossible for my eyesight.
Yep snow is magic for me too as a typical Brit. What i especially like about it is the sound deadening effect it has on all surfaces. Waking to freshly fallen snow I always notice the aural warmth.

Thanks DA ~ Ice scuptures are always special ~ sometimes they carve them in Restaurants and shine light through them ! Ice is only solid water but it has the same structure as diamond which is why it could tear a hole in the Titanic !
