Now it has happened
That third time,
That third and final time.
My love has now departed,
Departed permanently
From this earth.
I lost her first to dementia,
Then her Spirit left her body,
Now her body is gone.
But the celebration was there,
The celebration of her life.
So many friends,
So many kind words
As we all said good bye to her.
The love of my life
Has now left this world,
But she has not left me,
Her soul is still within me
As our love will never die.
I will be with her one day
And we will go on together,
Go to eternity.
Hand in hand,
Soul in soul,
Guided by our love,
Our profound love for each other.

Truly wonderful is the way you understand love and life's cycle. You know i see pretty much eye to eye with you spiritually but here in your words is a lesson for all.

Thanks for sharing Uncle Andy ~ We found the music very fitting to the passing of your beloved JOYCE into the Spirit World & appearing as a shining Star. We have read all the comments & your responses ~ very moving. You & Joyce are well loved on MPS. We love the Poem and Your Assurance that You will both be reunited in the Spirit World. We also have that Assurance for each other when the time comes ~ but ours is as yet untested. Yours has been tested & vinicated. The Assurance of life beyond Death & a certain reunion can lessen the sorrow & grief and enable you to face the FUTURE. We have both experienced this in the death of a Sibling. You are always in our prayers as you move forward alone Physically but with Joyce always present in your Heart ~ AMEN. Thanks for sharing it is great comfort to us as we face our own marriage ina few weeks time ~ AMEN !
