Death is inevitable.

Aa Harvey

Death is inevitable.

We spend our lives, fearing our deaths;

Scared of inhaling, that final breath.

Scared we may die, in the blink of an eye;

It is a consistent thought, throughout our lives.

But we cannot tell, what will happen tomorrow

And no man is able to avoid sorrow.

If it’s our destiny, to lose the one that we love tonight;

We cannot stop their fate, no matter how hard we try.

So rejoice in the fact, you’re alive right now…

For tomorrow you may be floating away into the clouds.

    Yep, thats exactly how life is. There are only two certainties. We are born and we die. The bit in between is a gift..... so many don't make it into the later years.

    How true these word A.A. - we must treat the bit in between as a gift for sure. Thanks for the wise reminder.

    I really like this. Definitely a much needed reminder not to take anything for granted. To enjoy it while we're here. Thank you!
