Summer Fire

MojoFreewrite

Summer days where the nights are long

Take me back to the gathering

Where the circle is small

But friends are true

Long summer nights

Take me back to the fire

That gave me comfort

As if it was him holding me in his embrace

Where the sky is lit afire

Where the wind blows freely through every fibers of her hair and in between her finger tips

Take me back to the summer nights

Where we held our most sacred conversations

Where the memories are singed into every part of our brain

Oh summer night

Take me back to the summer fire

To the gathering of remembrance, life, and warmth

Back to days of yore so they say.
I guess we all have a time in the past where things were just as you describe here.
You piece is a welcome chance to reminisce and feel those long lost moments again.

Those times of summer nights with friends are so special and will always be there in your memory.
