I can have really dark thoughts, ones you wouldn't believe.
They'll probably make your cringing cringe, I know theirs devil's inside me.
I don't put them in writing but if you look closer your see
Twisted in my reality is many versions of who I'll be
I've walked them all and never again, but sometimes you find. Your back in the same lane
I choose to think light although the dark was already there
As no matter who you try to be, everything has a shadow glare
Although not all have wings, and fart rainbows in the air
If you see my children, let them know I'm down here

- Comment from author about the poem: Credit to my amazing daughter for her picture, today is going to be a good day. Randomly after 4 years with a moustache, yesterday it all went and I feel brand new! Young but old, with plenty of stuff to be told!

Well, turn the light bulb on then! (heehee).
And it will still be just around the corner!
Always appreciated buddy
Hey Dan, why dont you take a few days off and write something about the beautiful world instead of the introvert stuff. All around you is beauty, trees, sunsets, clouds, tides, people, animals.... the stuff poets write about loads.
Seriously m8, taking time away from introspection could be like a holiday and quite theraputic.
Lol what a great idea, I've sent the fax, text and voice mail to my brain.
Time will tell if it works, but the mind writes what it wants
Always appreciate your time my friend
If you keep on choosing to "think light" that light will fill you life and the dark thoughts will be eradicated. (blimey, where did that word come from at ten passed six in the morning!)
Andy
Ha ha, not sure but I'll take it my friend and eradication will be my new point of action!
Always appreciated!
