Just Like That

SheWasTheSun

And just like that

After all those months

She woke one day

With the Earth under her feet

She woke one day

With the sun on her freckled cheeks

She woke one day

With the key to the world

Back under her thumb

And from the tips of her toes

To the ends of her golden curls

She was filled to the brim with love

Once again those feet hit the ground

With that world changing sound

Once again that smile

Stopped shuffling crowds

And once again those fingers wrote words

That could only be hers

And just like that

She was the sun

And just like that

She was back

Just like that

She was hers
