Grace Granted

orchidee

Tune: Sandys

('Teach me, my God and King')

********

Help me trust to your way

Lord, through each night and day

Grant there be time to contemplate

And on you meditate

Your life Lord, do reveal

And cause our hearts be still

Though matters many we attend

From evils us defend

To work and serve and live

For you us all things give

To glorify your holy name

Of power and endless fame

Look on me, poor I be

Without your graces, see

But you have considered me so

Completely you me know

Hear my prayer, do me aid

Redeemer, you have paid

Price of my sins, forgiven I

Am, cannot this deny

Eternal life you give

Through you we have hope, live

Lead us on, the gospel to share

Your love, your mercies fair

Thanks Gold. Sometimes where I don't base poems on any particular Bible verses, it can be my own thoughts, 'ad libbing', or where I am 'at', as the saying goes.
