Fido nipping in here.....
Can't stand me master's singing
He will have to wait another day
Before he chirps again!
But I'm here to warn ya
I can't stand too much 'excitement'
And I want no 'ardour'
This Valentine's Day, nor any day
'C'mon now', you may say to me
'You've not lived much.....'
'Get ya coat and get out more'
'You're an old wet blanket'
Yep, could say so - that's me!
Dampening your enthusiasm
For anything on a swoony theme
Ohh, OK, bring me red roses and a tasty bone
But never chocolates - they're fatal to me
I get a card annually, ya know
From a lady dog - Fifi by name
I send her one too!
But I wonder - is it like my master
Married to KP (Katie Price)?
They're always arguing
When she's not gone off for more Botox, that is!
Two men in white coats keep calling round our house
Not for me - for me master and KP!
I'll be a dark horse then
Let me hair down
Just keep marking them poems '18+'
Where they need to be
Or I'll be barking at ya!
Woof! Woof! (heehee)
--------
Any resemblance to living persons and creatures
in this poem is all true, ya know!

HI UNCLE STEVE ~ DONT TELL FIDO BUT !
BIRDS do it ~ BEES do it
Even educated FLEAS do it
Lets fall in LOVE
In shoals ENGLISH SOLES do it
Even our GOLDFISH in bowls do it
Lets fall in LOVE !

Thanks Gold, heehee. Fido very old too, so he must have been with us in 1066. Did he bark to put me off saying those fateful words to Harold? I dunno if he smells s...….. Not observed him doing so - wouldn't want to, if he did!
