Valentine Moon.

Fay Slimm.

 Valentine Moon.

So many hearts now peering towards you,
pleading you hear as you grace each night sky.

Tis time now for speaking of love perhaps new
yet unspoken for Valentine's Day draws nigh.

Wondrous white Queen you see the longing
and witness yearnings for Valentine hope
that declared love be vocal so give tongue
to tongues tied by your mystically copious
moonlight tonight, assist shy lovers to voice
passionate feelings and bolster shy ardour
before you sweep onward help hearts rejoice.
Do favour earthlings and power us from afar.

Reward waiting souls while bestowing on all
Valentine love with a card through the door.

P.S. As I have a crush like I've not had before
can you Love Goddess make me your first call ?

Good poem of course Fay, Lovely subject from your silver tongue. Hope you get all you wish for tomorrow. We have just adopted a beautiful new mare here in Yorks so she will be getting my valentine and a bunch of carrots. I will send her a card though ~ via moonpig!

        Ex animo, Alan

Oooh - would rather have a beautiful pony than any love-card or flowers -- how wonderful to adopt a mare who will give you so much affection and pleasure - give her a special carrot from me --

Nothing says Valentine's romance like a gorgeous moonlight. Hearts tonight will be waiting to see if their "crush" will call.
A beautiful poem Fay. A great description of the angst of the day. Some may get broken, but many will rejoice.
          Happy V-Day - Phil A.

          • ANGELA & BRIAN

Good Evening FAY - ANGELA here. Love the visual very whistful thinking - reflects the final doublet ! In the folklore of many Civilisations *Sister Moon* especially the New Moon - is associated with LOVE and there are many songs embellishing this theme ! The MOON can be large & luminous in February - provided its not to cloudy ! In the N Hemisphere it usually too cold - in February - to spoon al fresco in the Moonlight but Brian & I can enjoy it through the double glazed picture window ! Last year (2019) I was all alone in NZ on Valentines Evening ! The Moon was big and the air was balmy so I clung to Ruth (who was missing David) because the Tall Handsome KIWIS always had their eye to the main chance. We did get a few *Brotherly* hugs and kisses at the Catholic Church Valentines Dance but we remained Sober & Faithful - HONEST ! Brian I I love Valentines Day and Im staying at Brians Flat tonight (special concession) so we can have a Valentines Breakfast Together before work ! There is a Valentines Dinner & Dance tomorrow evening at the Catholic Church - We like to honour our SAINTS ! Please check my Poem Tomorrow *SAINT VALENTINE* an Acrostic 5 9 Sonnet !

Thanks for a beautiful Valentine Poem
Love the nuances in the Final Doublet !
            LOVE Angela & Brian πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›
