Tune: Albano
('Once, only once, and once for all')
Psalm 133
*********
Behold, how good and how pleasant
'Tis a gift heaven-sent
For brethren to dwell together
In unity to share
It is like the precious ointment
The oil, with fragrant scent
That poured on Aaron the high priest
At his anointing feast (= festival)
For it poured on his head ran down
On his beard, then his gown
To the foot of his garments flows
Blessings of God he knows
It is as the dew of the mounts
And as refreshing founts
From mount Zion, the Lord's command
Life e'ermore from His hand (= His Spirit)
