Tune: East Acklam
('For the fruits of His creation')
*********
To this feast you do us invite
Good to our sight
May we come lowly, penitent
With no relent
Bread and wine on table displayed
Your rich food and drink here arrayed
We partake of it by your grace
All of each race
May it strengthen us and sustain
Your peace maintain
To continue as your people
We shall not fall
Doing this in remembrance
Of you, here your presence we sense
For you did it first institute
We follow suit
Searching of lives, not rushing in
But cleansed within
Made by you Lord, worthy guests here
In lowly fear
This your body, blood symbolised
To the humble, not aggrandised
Guide us, keep us, e'er in your way
Each, every day
Sharing in this spiritual
Meal unto all
Help us take your gospel message
With love, courage
That we find not by earthly bread
alone, but by your word we fed
Victuals in endless supply
For you are nigh

Good Sunday Uncle Andy - Thanks for reminding us in the middle of a Hurricane that the Blessing of Autumn & Harvest will be with us in 6 months time. The Hymn & Video (love the Cows) remind us that we are 100% dependant on God (and our long-suffering Farmers) for the excellence & variety of the *Food* we all take for granted on our Supamarket Shelves ! The FOOL has said in his Heart - there is no GOD !
We will be at the Communion Service this Morning (Catholic Mass this week !) It is MAMA*S 60th Birthday so we are all at My (A) House for Lunch & Rioja ! The EUCHARIST wherever & whenever observed is always an Infinite Blessing. Thanks for reminding us in your Elegant Ode !
Blessings & Joy to YOU & YOUR Playful Pooch
Love in the Spirit Angela & Brian 💛💛💛💛💛
Thanks B&A. Yes, the cows and other things appear in the middle of the clip! The tune occurred to me, not that I was particularly thinking of Harvest at the time.
I like this, you done good Steven.. sounds like a party, a global party I might add..
Neville
