Portals in time

Poetic Dan

I don't know much about B.C, A.C

Or what they taught me!

But I do know the music they left me, the feeling it gives & the energy!

From the 80s up until now, mostly before my time, the 50s had something ever lasting

The ability to put our voice into harmony & rhyme

Within the Egyptian hieroglyphics, down to Plato in linguistics

All can be forgot in an instant, when in euphoria of loves breaks past existence

As the ecstasy now in the brain, knows one plus one is heavily gained

The weight of the body fades away, when you dance & make love this way

You'll hear the music forever plays, going back and forth to happier days.

  • Comment from author about the poem: The picture is a writting done a few years ago, I enjoyed finding it but the post today is one that I'm hoping I absorb most of all. I do love music of all ages and it is so nice to take a chill from today's basslines, hearing those vibes is like a portal in time

Music is my world and there is so much out there to be found and to be enjoyed. I am finding new music all the time.

Yes, I once did a piece called the birth of music in me. If not for 2pac and others I'd not of survived being me or made worse, although each to their own on this interpreting!

              Always appreciate your time
