Bring the play, rhyme once a day

Poetic Dan

All children should play in a park, at least once a day.

If not your hands will be fine!

Climbing up the knees, bouncing off the belly, spinning around screaming one more time!

All little monkeys like a rhyme, in all weather we can shine

There's no need to fray, be silly and say!

Anything that comes to mind

Stay fit dude. My body's falling apart from all the abuse i gave it working for a living. My son just 40 is beginning to feel his aches and pains from abuse building up too...

    Rhyme?
    that was ok
    once upon a time
    but soon was indicative
    of being far too
    restrictive

I hear you on that my friend, I hit the building game at 14 and spent most of my life in and out the trade game!

40 next year and I absolutely feel the aches with pains but all we can do is stretch and thank the good times.

I'll rest and sleep well on the other side, for now I'll stay in my own rhyme. Only restrictions are in the mind, when the emotions are right I'm flying high

      Always appreciate your time!

A fine write Dan. Looks like some sort of Inversion Therapy there, which I heard of, but don't want to try!

      • Poetic Dan

Well that's actually a summer photo, think that's the only therapy I need!

        Always appreciated my friend

Good reasons here for trying to write a rhyme every day -- and though
I never swing now my Gran used to say that a dance a day keeps the doctor away - so I do that round my rather large kitchen.......... a lovely read Dan

Ooo I like that, much better than an apple!

Dance & sway, keeps me happy in play!

Although to much techno is not okay....

          Always appreciate your time

I went to every park in my town as a kid, always wanted the adventure that my imagination would take me on.

Dam straight, me too. So glad to see my 13 & 15 year old still enjoying one in the rain today while I walk the dogs!

              Somethings a screen can't replace.

              Always appreciated my friend

May all the children play in the open running, jumping and climbing, I used to but that was way back in the last century, it did me no harm though, probably kept me stronger.

                Poetic Dan,

                I enjoyed your lively poem!
It brought about beautiful memories. I’ve always loved the park from childhood to adulthood! When I’m in New York, I’m lucky enough to enjoy Central Park. It’s a great place to jog, ride a bicycle, and sit on my favorite bench to read my favorite books!
